Win Tickets At Glade Festival’s New Website

Not only is Glade Festival moving to a new site at Matterley Bowl this year; they have also given their website a complete overhaul.

The all-singing, all-dancing Flash and HTML website will surely lead the way as a template for other festivals. Traditionally, the Glade Festival website has always been in plain HTML but this year they have decided to enter into the realms of full interactivity by creating the ultimate pre-festival experience allowing the user to virtually explore all dimensions of the Festival before even stepping foot on the site.

With easy features and great functionality the sites main highlights are:

• Traditional navigation – the simple menu buttons sit at the top of the page making it easy to navigate - even for a technophobe
• Movable map – by clicking and dragging you can explore the actual festival site, familiarising yourself with the space before you get there - thus saving time
• Timeline – situated at the bottom of the page, by dragging the slider across it will show you who’s playing on what stage and when. You can do this for each stage. It will also tell you who’s playing at the same time as one of your favourite artists. This information will be updated as they get closer to the festival
• My Schedule – within the Timeline section of the website you can create your own schedule by adding as many artists as you like. Print it out and take it with you to the festival - ensuring you don’t miss your favorite artists.
• Music – tracks from the artists are streamed on the site
• Food – information about the food on the market stalls is available so you’ll never miss out on your favourite falafel, pie, or crepes.

Oh and you can win tickets for you and a friend by spotting the Vaudevillian who is a dastardly fellow causing a nuisance... He appears at certain places at certain times and if you find him you can win two free tickets to this year's Glade Festival right there and then. Simple.

The Website was designed by Urbian, a Cape Town based design company.

Tickets for this year's Glade Festival cost a mere £125 (the same price as last year). All tickets include free on-site camping. Camper & caravan tickets cost an additional £45. Tickets are also now on sale for the VIP boutique Tipi camping area too.

The Glade Festival won Best Dance Festival at last year's UK Festival Awards and is a 10,000 capacity event, visited by dance music and free spirited aficionados from around the world.
